Resume Writing Tips & Free Resume Examples

Traditionally, the resume lists past jobs, starting with the most recent and working backwards, highlighting the tasks & skill sets from each job. That format works great for most lines of work, but in this more eclectic field, jobs tend to be contractual and may not last as long, but the learning from one season at a residential camp can be far more powerful than ten years at the same job. I personally always tell to consider a functional resume, where you highlight skill sets & mention specific work related samples under each skill set. This is a great format if you do not feel that you have enough work related experience, Or if you have so many past jobs to list them all.
